The Thistle Inn is a historic building in Wellington and one of New Zealand's oldest pubs.

The building in Mulgrave Street of 1840 was rebuilt after a fire in 1866 again. Until the replenishment of parts of Wellington Harbour, the building stood a few meters away from the coast, guests often came by boat. Among them was the chief Te Rauparaha should have been.

The Thistle Inn is discussed in Leves Amores, a short story by Katherine Mansfield in 1907.

The building is registered by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust as a Category I historic building.
