Thomas Ashton, 2nd Baron Ashton of Hyde

Thomas Henry Raymond Ashton, 2nd Baron Ashton of Hyde (* October 2, 1901; † 21 March 1983) was a British peer and politician.

Life and career

Ashton attended Eton College and then studied at New College, Oxford. On June 10, 1925, he married Marjorie Nell Brookes. They had three children, including Thomas John Ashton, 3rd Baron Ashton of Hyde, and two daughters.

Ashton inherited on 1 May 1933 as Baron Ashton of Hyde. He died in March 1983 at the age of 81 years.
