Thomas Herrion

Thomas Herrion (* December 15, 1981 in Fort Worth, Texas; † August 21, 2005 in Denver, Colorado) was an American football player.

Life

Thomas Herrion began his athletic career as a player for the Utah Utes from the University of Utah. During the 2004 season of the highly talented Herrion was a member of the training team of the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys. From there, he was loaned out for a short time at the Hamburg Sea Devils in NFL Europe in early 2005. Herrion, 1.90 m tall and 142.9 kg heavy, reinforced where the " offensive line ". His nickname was "Big T" and " Train". His most impressive performance was alongside his dreaded block in 2004, as he gave the ball to his quarterback dropped, took up and carried him 20 yards toward the end zone.

Herrion collapsed shortly after the end of a pre-season game, the 49ers against the Denver Broncos in the cabin together unconscious and died on the same day in the hospital.

At his autopsy, ischemic heart disease was found to be the cause of death. Herrions right coronary artery was severely blocked, resulting in a death of the heart muscle result.
