Thomas Hopfer

Thomas Hopfer (born 20 April 1990) is an Austrian football player. He stands at the Styrian First League - TSV Hartberg under contract.

Career

Hopfer made ​​the age of seven when unterklassigen SV Andritz his first footballing baby steps. It soon became apparent that he has talent, because a year later he moved to the youth department of the Bundesliga side SK Sturm Graz, where he received his basic training. Thanks to his talent moved Hopfer in June 2004 in the Federal Junior center of the Grazer AK.

There the scouts of OFB on Hopfer were attentive. On 11 October 2008, he played his first U-19 international against age colleagues from Macedonia. In the 2009/10 season Hopfer was incorporated into the Austrian U-20 national team, for whom he played five games.

Hopfer was substituted after 78 minutes for Christoph Mattes.

On February 1, 2010 Hopfer moved initially on loan to Premier League rivals TSV Hartberg, where he immediately became a regular player in 14 games and was used. After he made ​​a significant contribution thus to avoid relegation in the First League, he was extended his loan contract by one year.
