Thomas Jefferson Withers

Thomas Jefferson Withers (* 1804 in Ebenezer, York County, South Carolina, † November 7, 1865 in Camden, Kershaw County, South Carolina ) was a Confederate politician from the state of South Carolina, who during the Civil War ( 1861-1864 ) in Konföderiertenkongress served. He was also a judge at the 1846 state court, as well as a delegate from South Carolina during secession convention of 1861. Withers died on November 7, 1865 in Camden, Kershaw County, South Carolina and was then buried in the " Quaker Cemetery " in Camden.
