Thomas Johnson (Kentucky politician)

Thomas Johnson ( born July 4, 1812 in Montgomery County, Kentucky; † April 7, 1906 Mount Sterling, Kentucky) was an American politician from the 19th century.

Johnson represented 1861-1862 his home state in the Provisional Konföderiertenkongress. He also worked during the Civil War as colonel in the Confederate States Army. After the war he was elected in 1876 in the House of Representatives of Kentucky, where he remained until 1877. Subsequently, he was from 1878 to 1882 in the Senate from Kentucky.
