Thomas Kvist

Thomas Vedel Kvist ( born August 18, 1987 in Odder ) is a former Danish racing cyclist.

Thomas Kvist won the 2005 in the junior class a stage of the Trofeo Karlberg, part of the Tour du Pays de Vaud and the overall standings at the Grand Prix Patton. At the Giro della Lunigiana, he won the third stage and so could the Appreciation decide for themselves. In the 2006 season Kvist rode for the Danish Continental Team Designa Køkken, remained there but without success. In 2008 he won the final stage in the Coupe des Nations Ville Saguenay and was also the first in the overall standings. In 2008 he managed to jump in the UCI ProTour and launched between August 2008 and late 2010 for the Belgian ProTeam Quick Step Innergetic.

End of the 2011 season, he finished his career as a professional cyclist in the Danish Continental team Glud & Marstrand - LRO in order to concentrate on his medical studies.
