Thomas McMahon (bishop)

Thomas McMahon ( born June 17, 1936 in Dorking ) is Bishop of Brentwood.

Life

Thomas McMahon received on 29 November 1959, and was ordained priest incardinated in the Clergy of the Diocese of Brentwood. Pope John Paul II appointed him on 16 June 1980, on the Bishop of Brentwood.

The Archbishop of Westminster, Cardinal Basil Hume OSB George, donated to him on 17 July of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Patrick Joseph Casey, Bishop Emeritus of Brentwood, and Geoffrey Burke, Auxiliary Bishop of Salford.
