Thomas Nunatak is a nunatak, which is about 2 miles ( 3.7 km ) north-west of the Hall Nunatak and 17 nautical miles (31 km ) west of Camp Hills is located. The two isolated lying peaks lie along an ice escarpment at the head of the Minnesota glacier in Ellsworthgebirge.

He was named by a Geological Expedition of the University of Minnesota (1963 /64) by Hollie Thomas, a helicopter crew chief of the 62nd Transportion Corps Detachment of the United States Army, who supported the expedition.
