Thomas Wijck

Thomas Wyck (* 1616 in Beverwijck, † 1677 in Haarlem ) was a Dutch painter.

Wyck formed in Haarlem, visited Italy and painted first Italian road, beach and harbor scenes with figures in the manner of Pieter van Laer and later, after his return home, to interiors with figures of scholars and alchemists and family scenes in connection Ostade, Molenaer and others. He has erased some leaves.
