Thorsten Boer

Thorsten Boer ( born August 12, 1968) is a former German football player.

Sports career

Thorsten Boer comes from the junior level of Dynamo Halle-Neustadt. About Dynamo and Dynamo Eisleben Fiirstenwalde he came in 1989 to BFC Dynamo. The successful Oberliga times to ten times GDR champion at that time were already history. After the BFC Dynamo had missed direct qualification for the 2nd Bundesliga, Boer moved in 1991 to Chemnitz FC. With the Sky Blues the attacking midfielder for two years acted quite successful, resulted in a change to the then financially lucrative Tennis Borussia Berlin.

Already a season later Boer moved to local rivals 1.FC Union Berlin, for whom he played until 1999, a total of five years.
