Thousand Foot Krutch

Thousand Foot Krutch ( TFK ) is a Christian rock band from Peterborough, Ontario ( Canada).

History

Trevor McNevan started the band in Peterborough (Ontario ), where he went to school. Joel Bruyere, who is friends with McNevan since childhood, got the position as bassist in the band. The drummer Steve Augustine from Hamilton joined the two.

Their first album That's What People Do was published and distributed independently. 2001 he was the first and only publication on DJD Recordings Set It Off. While the band's sound was more rock and independent later, this album stands out even by Limp Bizkit -like nu-metal with solid hip hop or rap portion.

2003 the band signed with Tooth & Nail Records. There, they released their albums Phenomenon, The Art of Breaking, and The Flame In All Of Us. In 2004, also followed on Tooth & Nail republishing of Set It Off in revised form. 2009 was followed by the album Welcome to the Masquerade.

Since February 2010 Ty Dietzler Nick Hardt tree replaced as a guitarist. On May 28, a concert was recorded in front of 14,000 spectators in Edmonton, which was released on June 7, 2011 as the live DVD.

In September 2010, she contributed a song to the album Happy Christmas Vol 5 by Tooth & Nail.
