Thunder Force (series)

Thunder Force (Japaneseサンダー フォース, Sanda fosu ) is a series of shoot- ' em-up games of the manufacturer Technosoft, the first title released in 1983. Larger became famous for the series with the release of Part II - IV for the Sega Mega Drive.

Overview

The early games of the series have both multi-directional scrolling levels from a bird's perspective, as well as side-scrolling level, similar to the games R-Type and Gradius. Since Part III is omitted, the bird's eye view.

Special playful feature is the fact that the player's spaceship has several weapons at once, between which it is freely chosen. Moreover, these weapons can be upgraded separately. Furthermore, it is also noteworthy that the player may at any time vary the speed of his vehicle combination maneuver in four stages.
