Thuringian

The Thuringian dialect is a dialect, which belongs to East Middle. He is spoken in Thuringia, Saxony, the south-west of Saxony-Anhalt, Hesse ( Werra ), Lower Saxony ( calibration field ) and Bavaria ( Ludwig city). The Thuringian dictionary, which also includes areas outside of Thuringia, has about 5.5 million word documents. It was published in 2005.

Ilmthüringisch is a Thuringian dialect which is spoken in the area Katzhütte -Rudolstadt -Jena- Nebra -Weimar- Stadtilm - miter. Westthüringisch is a part of Thuringia, which is spoken by Eisenach and a transitional and mixed dialect of Thuringian, Frankish and especially Osthessisch is. Originally, the dialects of the Thuringian- Upper Saxon dialect group were referred to as Thüringisch. The Thuringian is characterized by a unrounding of vowels, consonants and lenition of differentiated pronunciation of the letter g.
