Tiago Calvano

Tiago Coelho Branco Calvano (born 19 May 1981 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil ) is a Brazilian footballer who also has Italian citizenship.

For the season 2005/ 06 he moved from FC Barcelona at the BSC Young Boys in the highest Swiss league. He was there most regular players in central defense. For the season 2008/ 09 he moved to MSV Duisburg. Tiago Coelho Branco Calvano, his full name, is a rugged defender with good positional sense and a good eye for the first pass.

For the 2010/11 season Tiago moved to Fortuna Dusseldorf, but came in the first round only four times for use. During the winter break of the 2010/11 season Tiago should switch to Arminia Bielefeld. However, the exchange failed because of a faulty fax machine. On Sunday, January 30, 2011, one day before the end of the exchange period II, Tiago and Arminia Bielefeld agreed on a change. The notice that Tiago had a found a new club, Fortuna Dusseldorf reached on 31 January 2011 at 10:00, to put him to 12:00 on the transfer list the DFL. Because of the defective fax the request arrived first at 12:10 in the DFL - 10 minutes late.

In May 2011, his change in the Australian A-League for the Newcastle United Jets was announced.

In January 2013, he left Newcastle and joined the league rivals FC Sydney. After a year in Sydney, he left the club in January and again in 2014 is without a club since.
