Tiangou

The sky dog (Chinese天狗, Pinyin tiāngoǔ ) is a Chinese mythical creature. Solar and lunar eclipses have been attributed in ancient China on him because he had eaten it. The Tiangou marks the point kite, the dragon is the analogous concept in the early Arab- European astronomy.
