Tibor Scitovsky

Tibor de Scitovsky Tibor or (from) Scitovsky (* 1910 in Budapest, † 1 June 2002) was an American economist. He was particularly known for his publications on the relationship between the satisfaction of the people and their economic use. He taught from 1946 to 1958 at Stanford University, where he was " Eberle Professor of Economics " from 1970 until his retirement in 1976.
