The Tigerentenclub is a German television entertainment program for children, which is produced by Southwest Broadcasting for ARD and Saturdays and Sundays aired in the First and in KiKA and rbb Fernsehen.

Mission

The Tigerentenclub was designed as a successor mission of previously broadcast in this timeslot Disney clubs whose presenters were also initially assumed. The first episode of the program aired on January 6, 1996. The idea for Tigerentenclub had the SWR Director Joachim Lang, who also developed the concept and was the first Director.

On 15 December 2007, the Tigerentenclub with a new concept, a new studio and a new presenter began (Katharina Gast). In 2009, added a further Moderator: Pete Dwojak. Two classes each enter as Tiger Duck and Frogs team together with their teachers in games against each other. The losing team sends bathe his teacher at the end of the game, the winning class will also receive prizes. Together with " matter of the heart ", a children's relief effort of SWR and SR, the participants seek out a project that they would like to contribute to help children in need. Since May 6, 2012 Muschda Sherzada moderates the Tigerentenclub in first. With the change the show also gets a new concept with new games and some surprises. On March 10, 2013 Pete Dwojak had in common with Muschda and the guest Oliver Pocher moderated his last mission and said goodbye after four years of this mission. The new moderator Luke Nimscheck since March 31, 2013 in use.

The Tigerentenclub organized since 2005 hands-on activities, such as Africa, Africa in 2006 or eyes - camera is running in the years 2007 and 2008, 2010 organized by the Tigerentenclub a film competition: "Future - Action ". . Here children were invited to submit home movies on the future. On 11 January 2011 the winners were published in five categories.

The Tigerentenclub produced by SWR and recorded in Stauferpark in Göppingen. The scripts of the individual programs are written among others by the moderator Juri Tetzlaff. The show and its presenters have won numerous awards, including several Golden Sparrow and 2006 the Bavarian Television Award.

Initially, several animation and live action series were broadcast for children under the Tigerenten clubs, such as DuckTales, Iznogoud, Walter Mellon or News from Süderhof.

Tigerentenclub Xtra (2009-2012)

Since January 2009, the magazine Tigerentenclub Xtra aired alongside the game show. The magazine offered knowledge and service to children. The program was moderated by Pete Dwojak and up to 2012 by Catherine Guest. Tigerentenclub world

The Tigerentenclub world is a free online interactive club on the programs of the Tiger duck clubs. The online community offers children the opportunity to interact with other members to provide suggestions for the program and to actively participate in actions. The offer of the Club World includes, among other things, online games, an avatar chat as well as the periodical interactive club news reports, quizzes and various tips.
