Tim Alexander

Tim " Herb" Alexander ( born April 10, 1965 in Cherry Point, North Carolina) is an American drummer who was best known as the drummer for the rock band Primus. Alexander played on the Primus album Suck On This, Frizzle Fry, Sailing the Seas of Cheese, Miscellaneous Debris, pork and Soda Tales from the Punchbowl before he left the band in 1996 and was replaced by Bryan " Brain" Mantia. In the following years he was also the drummer for the Blue Man Group. 2003 Alexander returned for the recording of the EP Animals Should Not Try to Act Like People to Primus back.

Tim Alexander is distinguished mainly by its experimental and varied, very challenging style, he mixes fast double bass playing with jazz -like fill-ins and percussive African rhythms.

Tim Alexander was the first drummer of the band A Perfect Circle.
