Tim Bakens

Tim Bakens ( born November 2, 1982 in Groesbeek ) is a Dutch footballer who played for FC St. Gallen.

Football career

Tim Bakens debuted as a professional footballer in the 2001/ 02 season at De Graafschap and took it in his first season already on 25 missions. The following season (21 inserts) the team got down to the second division. Bakens made ​​with 30 inserts and respectable six goals a significant contribution to direct resurgence. The 2004/05 season Bakens missed completely due to a knee injury. He did not renew the expiring contract and moved in 2005 to RKC Waalwijk, where he remained for three seasons (one in the second highest league). He spent the next season at FC Volendam, to which he returned after a six-month spell at Sparta Rotterdam.

In summer 2010, Tim moved Bakens free transfer to Switzerland for FC St. Gallen.
