Tim Berra

Tim M. Berra ( born August 31, 1943) is an emeritus professor of evolution, ecology and biology at Ohio State University in the United States.

Berra received three Fulbright Scholarships to Australia (1969, 1979 and 2009) and taught at the University of Papua New Guinea, before he moved to the Ohio State University in 1972. He was a visiting professor at the University of Concepcion in Chile, 1996 Visiting Professor at the University of Otago in New Zealand in 1992. In the last 40 years he spent more than 8 years for field research in Australia.

Dr. Berra is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists and the author of over 75 scientific publications and 6 books.
