Tim Burke (visual effects supervisor)

Tim Burke (born 1965 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England ) is an English specialist in visual effects.

Life and work

Growing up in Newcastle, England, Tim Burke began early, taking an interest in painting. Also influenced him Ray Harryhausen's stop-motion animations. So then he studied in England first graphic design and animation later at the Norwich School of Art and Design. During his studies he gained experience with computer-aided 3D modeling and animation, at this time, the mid-1980s, a fledgling technology.

Burke's first job after graduation was in London at the company Cal Video Graphics. There he was responsible for the creation of computer-generated commercials. Then followed an activity at the London Mill Film.

The early 2000s, Burke moved to London effect wrought Double Negative and was involved among other things, instrumental in all the Harry Potter films except the first as a Visual Effects Supervisor.
