Tim Kelleher (actor)

Tim Kelleher (* in Bronx, New York City ) is an American actor, screenwriter and director.

Life

Kelleher was born in the Bronx and grew up in Staten Iceland. He graduated from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He then joined the Jesuits and worked in Pennsylvania, Washington DC and New York.

Later he left the Jesuits and began in New York City acting school. He was a co-founder of the theater group Colony Theatre, mostly self-written pieces staged, including three written by Kelleher dramas. From the late 1980s was followed by first appearances in films and television series. For several years he worked alongside the film work on in his theater group.

In 2000, Kelleher took over the role of senior adviser Ted Sorensen Kennedy in the docu-drama Thirteen Days. In 2008 he was featured in Flash of Genius and Seven Pounds.

Occasionally, he also wrote screenplays and directed, so among other things for the comedies Mr. President Junior ( 1996) and The kicking garbage man (1998).

Since 1995 he is a member of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.

He is married to the writer Billie Livingston.
