Timothy Richard Tebow ( born August 14, 1987 in Makati City, Philippines) is an American professional American football player at the position of quarterback. He played from 2006 to 2010 college football for the Florida Gators, with whom he BCS National Championship Game and was once the Sugar Bowl win twice. In addition, he received the 2007 Heisman Trophy for the best college football player. After that he played from 2010 in the National Football League ( NFL) for the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets.

Early years

Tim Tebow was born in the Philippines in 1987 as the son of Christian missionaries and later taught by his mother at home. Sporting successes

With the football team of the University of Florida, Tim Tebow won for the seasons 2006/2007 and 2008/2009 respectively, the Southeastern Conference and the national championship of the Football Bowl Subdivision and 2009/2010 the Sugar Bowl.
