Timbedra

Timbedra, also Timbedgha, Arabic تنبدغة, is the third largest city of the administrative unit Hodh Ech Chargui in the southeast of the West African state of Mauritania.

This small park is situated on the Route de l' Espoir, the only east-west the country by crossing the asphalt road between Ayoûn el- Atroûs ( 280 km to the west) and Néma ( 110 km to the east).

The population of the city was 5,300 inhabitants in 1977 and has increased in recent decades very strong. In 2005, the city's population was estimated at 23,762. It was thus in 2005 on the list of largest cities of Mauritania on the position 18 and was the third largest city in Hodh Ech Chargui to Adel Bagrou and Boû Gâdoûm and far ahead of the capital Néma.
