Time After Time is a song by Cyndi Lauper, the So Unusual was first released on their 1983 released album She's.
History
2006 Lauper told in an interview with Sound Off with Matt Pinfield in HDNet, as the song was born. Lauper and Rob Hyman of the band The Hooters composed the song together in the studio. In the studio recording of the piece Hyman took over the second voice in the chorus. On the B - side of the single release from the album is the piece I'll Kiss You. Energy produced by Rick Chertoff ballad was nominated for the Grammy Awards 1985.
In the U.S., Time After Time 1984 reached for two weeks - from 9 to 16 June - number one on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in Canada also came the song to the top of the charts, and in Germany was the song for four weeks in sixth place.
Music Video
The music video is about a woman who was abandoned by her lover. At the beginning of the video you can see Lauper the movie The Garden of Allah watch, it uses the music, what you see leave a station building Lauper. In the video clip Cyndi Lauper's birth mother, her brother, her partner David Wolf and Lou Albano, who also starred in the video for Girls Just Want to Have Fun published. The director for the video led Edd Griles. Parts of the video were filmed in Tom 's Restaurant, a local at the intersection of Central Avenue and Main Street in Wharton, New Jersey as well as in the station of Morristown.
