Timo Parvela

Timo Parvela (* 1964) is a Finnish writer.

Parvela was a primary school teacher before he began to write books.

Since 1996 he works as a freelance writer. In addition to children 's books he has written television screenplays for both children and adults, as well as co-designed several Finnish textbooks and contributions for the Finnish radio.

His Ella series is school reading in his native Finland. The focus is on primary school pupil Ella, who talks about her school life.
