Timothy Bell, Baron Bell
Timothy Bell, Baron Bell ( born October 18, 1941) is a British director of advertising and public relations. He is best known for his advisory work in three election campaigns of Margaret Thatcher.
Career
Bell worked in various Werbe-/PR-Firmen before he "Managing Director " of Saatchi & Saatchi in 1970, which he co-founded. Later he became chairman.
He left the company eventually to found his own agency Lowe Bell Communications, 1987, and was chairman of the " Chime Communications " 1994.
During his time at " Saatchi & Saatchi " and later with his own agency Bell was decisive in the election campaign of the Tories.
Bell was knighted in 1990 and elevated to a Life Peer in 1998.
