Timothy van der Meulen

Timothy van der Meulen (born 2 March 1990 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch football player who is under contract with the Dutch second division club De Graafschap since the 2012/13 season.

Van der Meulen was born in 1990 in Amsterdam and began at the age of seven years at the small SV CTO'70 from the Amsterdam suburb Duivendrecht playing football. It was followed by several years at the clubs SV and FC Omniworld Almere in the neighboring city of Almere, before he moved back to Amsterdam and the renowned youth department of AFC Ajax in 2006. Beginning of 2010, van der Meulen joined on loan to the Dutch second division club HFC Haarlem to play matches.
