Timur Dibirov

Timur Anatoljevich Dibirow (Russian Тимур Анатольевич Дибиров; born July 30, 1983 in Petrozavodsk ), is a Russian handball player.

The 1.80 meter tall and 74 kilogram left winger stood until end of season 2012/13 at Medwedi Chekhov under contract. With this club he played for the seasons 2004/05 to 2012/ 13 in the EHF Champions League and the 2005/06 European Cup Winners' Cup. In the summer of 2013, he joined the Macedonian club RK Vardar Skopje. In February 2014 his contract extension was announced in 2020.

Timur Dibirow scored in 118 appearances for the Russian national team 369 goals (as of December 2013). He was in the squad for the European Championships in 2010 and 2012. During the World Cup in 2013, he reached the quarter-finals with Russia and was appointed as the best left winger in the All- Star team.

Dibirow is married and has a son.
