Tina Theune

Christina Theune (* November 4, 1953 in Kleve ) is a German former football player and ex- national coach of the women's national team. After their wedding, she wore until their divorce in 2008 the last name " Theune -Meyer ".

Life

Tina Theune comes from a family of pastors from Kevelaer on the Lower Rhine. She spent her first two years of life in the old rectory on Schenkenschanz.

She played from 1974 to 1986 at Green-White Brauweiler. During this time she was also active as a player and coach since 1982 player of the woman selection of the Football Association Middle Rhine, with which it was in 1981 DFB Cup winner countries. After her teaching degree she earned in 1985 as the first woman in Germany a soccer coach license.
