Tincourt-Boucly

Tincourt - Boucly is a commune with 376 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region of northern France. The municipality belongs to the canton Roisel and is part of the Communauté de communes du canton de Roisel.

Geography

The municipality is located 4.5 km west of Roisel at the department road D6 after Peronne on the river Cologne, which opens at Peronne in the Somme. The parish includes the hamlets of Tincourt, Boucly and Hamel. By Tincourt - Boucly was the section Peronne - Épehy the former railway line from Saint- Just-en -Chaussée to Douai.

History

The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
