Tine (company)

Tine Tine Norske Meierier or BA is a Norwegian food company that primarily produces milk products. Main market is Norway, certain products are also exported abroad. The Group has 5734 employees and had 2008 sales of 17.7 billion [ NOK ] (about 2 billion euros ).

History

Tine was founded in 1928 as Norske Meieriers Eksportlag, renamed in 1942 in Norske Meieriers Salgssentral, and has been operating since 1984 as Norske Meierier. The name of the company Tine 1992 has registered as a trademark.

Products

Before the mid-1990s almost as a monopolist in the market in Norway, came through the development of the dairy product market by foreign firms in Norway a greater variety in the refrigerated shelves. Through the competitors looked Tine gezwungem to bring new products to market milk.

Diplom- Is
