Tinka Milinović

Tinka Milinović ( born November 27, 1973 in Sarajevo ) is a Bosnia and Herzegovina singer and presenter. With the group six4one she participated for Switzerland at Euro Vision Song Contest 2006.

Musical training

Milinović took flute lessons at the music school of Sarajevo. In 1991 she went to the USA where she successfully studied singing under Loryn E. Frey at Louisiana College. In 1998 she received the Master of Music in Opera / Vocal Performance and Pedagogy. Then she became a student of Martina Arroyo, prima donna at the Metropolitan Opera.

Career

Then Milinović made ​​appearances at various operas and musicals, completed solo concerts and worked with the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra and Sarajevo Philharmonics the. For the conductor Jonathan Sheffer, she worked as a music teacher and assistant.

It also occurs as a solo artist with own repertoire in jazz, cabaret and classical music.

Milinović returned back to Sarajevo in 2001 and worked among other things in radio. Since 2002 she is the co- host of the popular bingo show of the television station of the Bosnian Federation, FTV.

Euro Vision Song Contest

Tinka Milinović took part in the Bosnian herzegovinischen preliminary rounds for the Euro Vision Song Contest in 2002, 2003 and 2005. She could not decide for them, but has already achieved with their first appearance in 2002 much media attention in their home country.

In 2006, she reached the 17th place at the Euro Vision Song Contest in Athens with the group six4one for Switzerland.
