Tira (Israel)
Tira (Hebrew טירה, Arabic الطيرة at- Tira, DMG aṭ - Tira ) is a city in Israel. It is located about 12 kilometers southeast of Netanya and 8 kilometers north-east of Kfar Saba. In September 2003, Tira had 19,600 inhabitants. The population consists almost entirely of Muslim Arabs. The status of a city received Tira in 1991.
With the German city castle in Saxony -Anhalt, there is a twinning.
