Tisamenus (King of Thebes)

Teisamenos (Greek Τεισαμενός ), the son of Thersander and Demonassa, was in Greek mythology, king of Thebes. He was the father of Autesion.

As Thersander, his father, was killed during the first campaign against Troy, Teisamenos was too young, so Peneleus, the business of government took over and in the second train led the Boeotians. Only when also Peneleus died Teisamenos ascended the throne of Thebes. He was succeeded by his son Autesion.
