Tiskre, Tallinn

Tiskre is a district (Estonian asum ) of the Estonian capital Tallinn. It is located in Haabersti district.

Description

Tiskre is the westernmost district of Tallinn. He was removed in 1975 by the eponymous village Tiskre ( Tiskre küla ) in the rural community and the city of Tallinn Harku incorporated. The name Tiskre occupied since 1522 ( Tiszkeranne ) or 1531 ( Diskerkulle ).

Tiskre bordered by the Bay of Kakumäe to the Baltic Sea. Through the District of Bach Tiskre oja flows.

Tiskre today has 1,507 inhabitants (as of 1 May 2010). Many new buildings for the Estonian elite dominate the skyline.
