Tizayuca is a municipality in the Mexican state of Hidalgo. The seat of the municipality is the same Tizayuca. The community had in 2010 97.461 inhabitants, its surface area is 76.9 km ².

Tizayuca located in the south of the state of Hidalgo, about 50 kilometers north of Mexico City.
