Tiziano Manca

Tiziano Manca (* June 27, 1970 in Squinzano ) is an Italian composer of contemporary music.

Life

Tiziano Manca was born in 1970 in Squinzano (Italy). He studied composition in Florence at Romano Pezzati and Salvatore Sciarrino and electronic music and philosophy. After a master degree in conducting with Piero Bellugi followed.

In 2001 he was composer -in- residence at the Akiyoshidai International Art Village in Japan and at the Abbaye de Royaumont (Paris). In 2002 and 2003 he received a scholarship from the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart.

His music has been performed including Amsterdam ( Gaudeamus Music Week ), Antwerp ( Ars Musica ), Berlin ( Konzerthaus, Festival ultrasound, sound workshop ), Darmstadt ( Summer School ), Huddersfield ( Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival), Japan ( Akiyoshidai International Art Village ) alfalfa (lucerne festival ), Paris ( Abbaye de Royaumont ), Toronto ( Jane Mallet Theatre ) and Zurich ( Tonhalle ).
