TJ Jiskra Domažlice

TJ Jiskra Domažlice is a Czech football club from the western Bohemian city Domažlice.

Today's club TJ Jiskra is due to the first founded in Domažlice Club, the 1908 launched SK Šumava. There followed various name changes and mergers. Domažlice occurred mostly regionally in appearance. In the years 1969-1972 the first men's team then played but higher class. In the new millennium Jiskra made ​​in 2007 attracted attention for their promotion to the fourth highest Czech football league, followed by promotion to the third Czech league in 2011, has made the club again now nationally known. In the first season in the CFL, the team played with almost the entire season in the top third of the table and finished at the end of a 6th place. In the following season, this result could be a 4th place improved. On 5 September 2012, the club has attracted attention by a victory over first division side Dynamo Ceske Budejovice in the 2nd round of the Czech Cup, but resigned later in second round against the first division side FK Teplice.
