Tjun Tjun

Tjun Tjun ( born October 4, 1952 in Cirebon as Liang Chunsheng, Chinese梁春生) is a former Indonesian badminton player. He was one of the greatest doubles players in this sport in the 1970s. Liang Qiuxia is his sister.

Career

After tournament victories in the season 1972/1973 in Denmark and Germany Tjun Tjun trumped 1974 large. He won Asian Games with Johan Wahjudi the men's doubles, the All England and two titles at the Denmark Open.

1973, 1976 and 1979 he won the Indonesian team in the Thomas Cup. In the first badminton world championship 1977 Tjun Tjun World Champion in men's doubles, once more with Johan Wahjudi.
