Tom Gladdis

Tom Gladdis ( born February 24, 1991 to the Isle of Wight ) is a British racing driver.

Career

Gladdis began his motorsport career in 2007 in Formula racing and went to the British Formula BMW at the start. He ended his first season in 14th place overall and also took part in several races of Asian and German Formula BMW. 2008 Gladdis moved to the North American Star Mazda Series. He chose a race for himself and was with two other podium finishes sixth in the overall standings.

2009 Gladdis returned back to Europe and joined the newly formed Formula 2, a championship in which there were no teams and all the pilots were supervised by the same organization, to. With a sixth place as best result, he finished the season 20th overall. In 2010 he started again in Formula 2 He participated in three race weekends, in part, finishing with a second place as best result the 15th place in the overall standings. After the season Gladdis suffered from a serious foot injury, which resulted in him had to be amputated three toes on his left foot. In 2011, Gladdis part only at the season opener of Formula 2.
