Tom Novy
Tom Novy ( born March 10, 1970 in Kaufbeuren as Thomas Reichhold ) is a German house DJ and producer.
Life
Already known as a DJ on the borders of the city of Munich, Tom Novy published in 1995 his first single titled I House You, which directly entered the top 10 of the German Dance Charts. A year later, he reached international fame with the single superstar that rose in Germany at number 15 in the Media Control Charts and occupied a top position in 18 other countries. The House anthem I Rock 1998 was in the Media Control Charts for over 10 weeks, and the Airplay Top 100 represented for over 20 weeks. His single Pumpin came in June 2000 to position 19 in the UK charts.
2000, Tom Novy, the first ever German artist who was allowed to mix the Ministry of Sound Annual compilation. The opening track of his 2001's debut album My definition ( Top 30 - Media Control ) was Welcome to the Race (official Mercedes -Benz Formula 1 Nürburgring track) with singer Ben Jannet Lima. His single Lovin U from the year 2004 became a worldwide sensation, in South Africa, for example, it reached the Top 10
The single Take It in 2005 was the most played dance number on German radio, particularly successful at Radio NRW, and reached the Top 20 Its publication Your Body with singer Mike Marshall entered in December 2005 in the top 10 of the UK sales chart and went into over 20 countries in the top 15
To date, remixed and produced Tom Novy, for example, for 10cc, Baby Bash, Backstreet Boys, DJ Thomilla, Erick Morillo, Jimmy Somerville, Joachim Germany, Sander Kleinenberg, SNAP!, Stephan Remmler (Trio ), Ludacris, Marianne Rosenberg, Mousse T., Moonbootica, Rosenstolz, Justin Timberlake and Sonique.
Tom Novy hosted several TV shows, including MTV Germany on the Dance Floor Charts, Street Life, Battle of DJ's and nightlife. Other presentations were MTV Battle of DJ's ( 2003) and Mac Chart-Show (2004) on ProSieben.
Since May 2010 Novy is a regular on the webshow magazine Raveline names Raveline TV, along with chief editor Sven Schäfer.
Even as a young unknown DJ he put on the radio: As a guest DJ by Heinz Felber in the legendary club night. In addition, he mixed a weekly radio show on FFN and since 1998 for Radio Energy and Munich from March 2006 for Radio Energy Germany. Since January 2009 he has been heard in the new radio egoFM in Bavaria.
From September 2008 to September 2009 was Tom Novy the operators of the " Match Club " in Munich advice.
