Tom Shadyac
Tom Shadyac ( born December 11, 1958 in Falls Church, Virginia ) is an American film director, film producer and author.
Shadyac is known for his movie partnership with comic actor Jim Carrey, who some hits such as Ace Ventura - Pet Detective brought forth, Liar Liar and Bruce Almighty. He also worked with Eddie Murphy together in the remake of the Jerry Lewis comedy The Nutty Professor and its sequel Klumps family and the crazy professor. Addition, he filmed Patch Adams with Robin Williams and Dragonfly with Kevin Costner. He also referred to as executive producer of the ABC sitcom " My Teenage Daughter " responsible.
Most recently, he directed the Bruce Almighty sequel Evan Almighty, this time with Steve Carell in the lead role.
