Tomas Bata University in Zlín

The Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Univerzita Tomáše Bati ve zline, is a Czech University in Zlín. It is named after the Czech industrialist Tomáš Bata.

The University was created in 2001 from older higher education institutions, in particular the Technological Faculty, which was founded in 1960 as the Faculty of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava. In 1963, the Technological Faculty of the Technical University of Brno was annexed.
