Tomasz Kos ( born April 4, 1974 in Kolo, Poland ) is a former Polish football player.

Career

Kos played for Olimpia Kolo and Sokol Pniewy, before joining Łódzki KS 1996. In 1998 he won with Łódź, the Polish championship and then moved to Germany to FC Gütersloh, where he played 14 times (one goal ) in the 2nd Bundesliga. In 1999 he moved to the 1 FC Nuremberg, for which he ran aground 49 times in the second and 53 times in the 1st Bundesliga. In his last season at Nuremberg Kos had only one use.

In 2004 he moved to FC Erzgebirge Aue. There he was from the beginning a regular player and became permanently to support the association. His first two years were the most successful up to that point in the club's history of East Germans after reunification: Twice No. 7 was reached. Kos was played by right-back or center-back. Over the next two seasons, the team could not hold the previous achievements and after the 2007/ 08 season as they missed 16 of the table in the league. After the descent of the Erzgebirge in the 3rd League Kos was one of the few players who extended his contract expiring. After he had already been in Mannschaftsrat before, he was the successor to Jörg Emmerich as team captain. In this role, he led the club for two years rebuilding. After re- ascent to the 2010/11 season Kos extended his contract with FC Erzgebirge Aue again for another year until 2011., But after he was injured only deny almost half of the season games, he finished the season end at the age of 37 years, his professional career.

Kos played three matches for Poland ( 2000-2002).
