Tomasz Nowak (footballer)

Tomasz Nowak (born 30 October 1985 in Kościan, Poland) is a Polish footballer who is active in the Polish second division Bogdanka Łęczna currently.

Club career

Nowak began his career at Obra Kościan in youth, before moving to juniors by Amica Wronki. After he went through there almost all the youth teams, the midfielder went in to Kania Gostyń spring 2006 and graduated from solid performances, so that the first division club Korona Kielce became aware of him. After he no longer counted there to the root of the first team, Nowak was loaned to the two-time Polish champion Polonia Bytom and gave on 11 September 2009 at the league game against Piast Gliwice his debut in the team. For the 2010/11 season he returned to Korona Kielce, but again could not prevail, and became the second round of the second division Bogdanka Łęczna borrowed. For Łęczna Tomasz Nowak played 16 games in which he scored 5 goals. His performance convinced the first division Łódzki KS, so that he was obliged. However, he disappointed the first half of the 2011/12 season again and came up with 13 league games, mostly as a substitute. In March 2012 he dissolved his contract with Łódzki KS and signed for first division side FK Gomel in Belarus. The White Russians, he was immediately regulars and completed 24 league games in which he scored 3 goals. After the 2012/2013 season, he returned to Poland and signed with the Polish second division Bogdanka Łęczna.

National

On 17 January 2010, he debuted in the Polish national football team in a friendly against Denmark ( 1:3). On 23 January 2010, he scored his first international goal in a friendly against Singapore ( 6:1).
