Tommy Bond
Thomas Ross Bond (born 26 September 1926 in Dallas, Texas, † September 24, 2005 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor.
Life
The age of five, he started his career as an actor in the Hal Roach Studios in Los Angeles after he was discovered by agents at Roach's test shots for a magazine in Dallas. He played Butch the bully in the popular Our Gang series of short films ( to German: The Little Rascals ) from the 1930s. In the 1940s, Bond played in two parts of the Superman movie serials of these years the young photographer Jimmy Olsen, Superman's self-proclaimed "best friend". In the role of Joey Pepper Bond has appeared in numerous Five Little Peppers - movies.
As of 1951, Tommy Bond, due to its former role also called Tommy " Butch" Bond, exclusively on television working as a director and producer. He went in 1991 to retire. Bond was married to actress Pauline Bond. The marriage produced a son, Thomas Ross Bond III went. Forth. Bond died in 2005 of a heart attack.
