History

2000 Focus Digital AG was founded in the same year and went to the stock exchange. Following the merger of Focus Digital AG and Tomorrow Internet AG for Tomorrow Focus AG, 2001, the Company adopted the 2002 license for the publication of the German Playboy magazine. In the first years of business, the Tomorrow Focus AG focused on the division of ad-supported online portals. The initial portfolio included next to the News ABC Online portal with various online brands risen in Burda Media Group Publisher Milchstrasse.

2003, the joint-stock company was first listed on the Prime Standard of the German stock exchange. As of 2006, a majority shareholding of HolidayCheck AG and EliteMedianet GmbH were acquired. 2008, Tomorrow Focus also involved in Adjug, a marketplace for online advertising inventory. In the same year, the majority takeover of the Medical Review Portal jameda and Finance portal Finanzen100, since 2011 in full.

2010, the Company adjusted its portfolio in order to focus on Internet services. 2012, the company acquired a majority in the Dutch online travel agency Tjingo and to Webassets BV, operator of the portals holiday homes and Meteo Vista. Shortly after, Tomorrow Focus also took over the majority of the French online travel agency Ecotour.com (RPC Voyages SAS). 2012, the takeover of the parent portal NetMoms GmbH.

  • Toon Bouten is appointed as the new CEO of TOMORROW FOCUS AG. His entry into the society will take place on 1 January 2013.
