Tongchuan District

Tongchuan (通 川 区, Tongchuan Qū ) is a municipality of the prefecture-level city in the Chinese province of Sichuan Dazhou. He had an area of 451 km ² and had approximately 390,000 inhabitants ( 2004). On 18 July 2013, the program was the large municipalities Beimiao碑 庙镇and Jiangling江陵 镇and the communities of Beishan北 山乡, Anyun安 云 乡, Zitong梓 桐乡, Jinshi金石 乡, Qingning青 宁乡, Longtan龙滩 乡and Mengshuang檬 双 乡attached, which had previously been separated from the county Da (达县). Here, the former district was since converted into the present-day city district Dachuan. The capital and seat of government of the municipality Tongchuan is the greater community Xiwai (西 外 镇).

At the community level, the municipality has for July 18, 2013, three road districts, nine major municipalities and ten municipalities together.
